Faith's favorite thing in the whole wide world -- chase the ATV!

Mama Faith

Faith joined us in March, 2006 from Club Doodles in Tennessee.  She is registered with the Australian Labradoodle Association of America. She is a small standard first generation Labradoodle.

Her final color will be silver.  As you can see from her photos, her coat is still turning from black to silver.  The silver color takes up to 2 years to fully develop!

Faith is 45 pounds and 18 inches tall.  She is an excellent mama -- very proud of her puppies, protective of them and she takes very good care of her little ones.

Faith is shy, loves to play with the other dogs & prefers to be outside.  When we give her anything soft for her indoor space, such as a blanket or pillow, she drags it outside into her run & sleeps with it there! She prefers to stay in her kennel over living in the house.  We still have her live in the house from time to time, but Faith really doesn't enjoy living inside.  She is just happy in her own space.

She is very smart and loves to be around people.  Faith stays around the farmhouse and rarely will wander very far.  She really enjoys running and can keep up with the ATV at 20mph for several miles.  But most of the time she's a couch potato.  When she is in the house, she loves to lay on the couch and watch TV with us!

Faith is a true water dog.  The first thing she does whenever she goes outside is to leap into the pond.  She is able to leap out about 10 feet into the deep water!

In the fall of 2008, we had several Canadian geese stop over on our pond.  Faith and Hope thought that they looked like good eatin' and took out after them!  Watching the geese swim around in circles while the two dogs paddled like crazy was simply hilarious.  After awhile, Faith decided that Hope could chase that windmill by herself!  :)
