Missouri Doodles is pleased to welcome you to our Doodle family! We have taken as many precautions as possible to make sure your new family member is happy and healthy. We pray that this puppy fits well into your family and you will enjoy him/her for years to come. Your puppy has been checked by our veterinarian before we delivered him/her to you. The health statement is attached to this contract. We request that you have the puppy checked by your veterinarian within the next three business days and have the veterinarian write a similar health statement for us. Then sign this contract, attach your veterinarian’s health statement and return it to us within 10 business days.

Labradoodle/Goldendoodle Sales Contract & Health Warranty
The Seller, Missouri Doodles, and the Buyer, ______________________, hereby agree as follows:
1. The Seller hereby sells to the Buyer, for the amount of $1250, payment of which is hereby acknowledged, a male/female Labradoodle/Goldendoodle puppy, born ________________, by ___________________________, out of _____________________, in accordance with the terms of this contract.
2. The Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health on the date of delivery. The Buyer has the right to return the puppy to the Seller within three business days after delivery and receive a refund of the purchase price if the puppy is found by a veterinarian to be suffering from any disease. The Buyer must provide the veterinarian’s statement when requesting to return the puppy within the first 72 hours. The Seller reserves the right to have the puppy evaluated by a vet of their choice.
3. The Seller will register the Labradoodle puppy with the International Labradoodle Association, Inc. under the name ___________, and provide the registration papers to the Buyer. A Goldendoodle puppy will not be registered.
4. The Seller guarantees that the puppy is free of hereditary defects to the best of his/her knowledge. Missouri Doodles guarantees this puppy until he/she reaches the age of two years from all life threatening hereditary defects, including moderate to severe hip dysplasia. Conditions of guarantee are as follows:
A. If the dog is diagnosed by Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA) or Penn Hip as being moderately or severely dysplastic on or before 24 months of age, the Seller must submit a copy of the OFA report to the breeder.
B. A veterinarian cannot make this diagnosis and the dog must be sedated when the radiograph is taken.
C. A letter from the Seller’s veterinarian must be sent to Missouri Doodles stating that the dog has not been overfed for its height/structure; has not involved in any physical trauma; and has received regular check-ups.
D. Missouri Doodles will provide the Buyer with a puppy from the next litter or reimburse veterinarian expenses to treat the dysplasia or other hereditary condition in which the parents can be tested for carrier genes up to the initial purchase price of the puppy.
E. This health guarantee is only applicable to the original Buyer. If the puppy has been re-homed, this guarantee becomes null and void. Dogs that have been physically injured are not covered by this guarantee.
The Seller does not assume any additional liability for possible genetic defects or health concerns in the puppy past 24 months of age, and will under no circumstances be responsible for veterinary bills resulting from any such condition. This contract must be returned within 10 business days from delivery or the health guarantee will be null and void.
5. This puppy has been sold as a pet and is not to be used for breeding. The Buyer agrees to have puppy spayed or neutered by the age of six months. When the buyer sends Missouri Doodles a written statement from the operating veterinarian that the puppy has been spayed or neutered, Missouri Doodles will send a refund of $50 to the Buyer of the original purchase price. If the puppy is not spayed or neutered by six months of age, all health warranties are null and void.
6. The Buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization schedule, heartworm preventative, good diet, and a clean and safe environment.
7. If at any time in its life the puppy is to be sold or given away, the Buyer shall so notify the Seller and give the Seller the option to assist with re-homing the puppy. If necessary, the Seller may board the puppy with Missouri Doodles until a home can be found.
8. The Seller shall not sell the puppy to any individual or establishment in the business of buying and selling puppies for a profit.
